Golf
Golf is central to life at Vanderbilt Country Club. The club's 18-hole, par-72 championship golf course was originally designed by Gordon Lewis and later redesigned by acclaimed golf course architect Kipp Schulties, with the renovation completed in 2015.
The course is characterized by tree-lined fairways, undulating greens, sparkling lakes, mature landscaping, and natural preserve areas. Five sets of tees provide options for a wide range of playing abilities, with the course reaching 6,631 yards from the Green tees.
Members also enjoy extensive practice facilities along with professional golf instruction, clinics, leagues, tournaments, and organized programs for both competitive and social players. Men's and women's 18-hole and 9-hole groups provide additional opportunities to play and connect throughout the season.
Because Vanderbilt is a bundled golf community, golf privileges are included with home ownership, allowing new residents to begin enjoying the course without a separate golf membership waitlist.
Dining
Dining at Vanderbilt Country Club ranges from relaxed everyday gatherings to more refined occasions, with a variety of indoor and outdoor venues designed for both casual meals and social events.
The Vista Room offers fine dining with picturesque views overlooking the golf course, while the Bar & Grille provides a relaxed setting for drinks, lunch, dinner, and time with friends. The Terrace Café, located beside the resort-style pool, courts, and golf practice facilities, offers convenient casual dining along with a full bar and kitchen.
Dining is an important part of Vanderbilt's active social calendar, with year-round happy hours, themed buffets, dinner dances, game nights, special events, seasonal celebrations, and other opportunities for members to gather and connect.
Amenities & Recreation
Life at Vanderbilt extends well beyond golf. The club features six lighted Har-Tru Hydro-Grid tennis courts, pickleball, three permanent bocce courts, and a comprehensive court sports program that includes lessons, clinics, round robins, social events, tournaments, league play, and interclub competition.
Vanderbilt's 5,100-square-foot Fitness Center includes a 2,200-square-foot exercise and equipment room, a dedicated aerobics studio, locker and shower facilities, personal training, group fitness classes, massage services, and onsite physical therapy. Members can also enjoy a resort-style pool and spa along with three additional satellite pools located within the Waterford and Wedgewood neighborhoods.
The social side of Vanderbilt is equally active, with clubs and activities ranging from book clubs, bridge, music, Mahjong, poker, painting, fitness programs, dining events, entertainment, and seasonal gatherings.
